Robert Kruse was born in Berwyn, Illinois, just outside of Chicago. He grew up in La Grange, Illinois, and graduated from Lyons Township High School in 1970.

He subsequently graduated from University of Colorado in 1980 with a B.A. in English Literature.

He graduated from Denver Seminary in 1983 with an M.A. in New Testament.

He then graduated from University of Denver, College of Law in 1988 with a J.D. (juris doctor) degree.

He subsequently became a Deputy District Attorney in Alamosa, Colorado from 1989 to 1993. While a Deputy D.A. he prosecuted criminal cases in County Court, Juvenile Court and District Court. He literally prosecuted thousand's of cases, including hundreds of D.U.I. cases.

Alamosa is the land of "cool sunshine." Rob remembers scraping ice off of his windshield into the middle of June.

He has been practicing law in Colorado Springs since 1993.

In his spare time he loves to read, mainly history and literature. He also loves to swim at the local Y.M.C.A., bike year round, ski, golf, walk his dog, and spend time with his family. He has been married for over 30 years and has two grown children.

Deputy District Attorney in Alamosa, prosecuted thousands of criminal cases in County, Juvenile and District Court for almost 4 years. Over 25 Years of Trial Experience, practicing law in Colorado; in Colorado Springs, since 1993. He practices in El Paso, Teller, Douglas and Pueblo Counties.
